Bunty landed on Kassia Zermon's bedhead in 2006 when time seemed to be going on and on, making all days incredibly long. So long, that the surrounding sounds were stretched out, illuminating all their intricate boom, clack, brrrrrrap ticks and scrapes. Listening closer in between were thousands of other sounds- tiny, miniscule samples of unheard languages, textures and tunes . And there by her feet... a machine that could collect them all together, electroshooting them out of her mouth as if by fucking magic.
"Bunty makes playful and inventive work which crosses artforms in a truly groundbreaking way!"
Rosalie White, Battersea Arts Centre
"There are no words to describe the enigmatic, fun and insanely talented Bunty"
Quint Magazine, Dubai.
"Her shows transport you somewhere between a fantastical childhood dream and a recurring nightmare. When asked what her favourite film might be she answered without a moments thought "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory- the old one!"
J.S Thornton, Beatabet records
"She leaves the listener to wrap their heads around something most unfamiliar, a musician who does things that you don't expect"
"Original? yes, talented? yes like? Absolutely"
Ruth Barnes, Amazing Radio
"She's doing what bands have attempted to do but all on her own - and a great voice to match"
Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6
"Her art genie is still as strong as ever. An enticing start to her Multimos project"
John Warr, Juice fm
"Her skill is remarkable and there is excitement before each song to see what will happen, its infectious"

Hejira (Accidental/Ego/Lima Limo)
Formed in 2010, Hejira are Sam Beste, Rahel Debebe-Dessalegne, Alexis Nunez and Alex Reeve - a group of Londoners with a diverse collective heritage spanning the entire globe from Chile and Hungary through to Ethiopia and Germany. Borne of many years of experience performing individually in a bewildering amount of styles with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Tom Jones, Nitin Sawhney, Eric Lau and Connan Mockasin, the band seek to build this musicianship into an uncompromisingly visceral, passionate yet tender sound.
No strangers to live performance, Hejira will be taking their album on the road for their UK wide TraumTour in October, an extension of their monthly Traum events. Traum began at Servant Jazz Quarters and then moved to Shacklewell Arms to sellout success drawing in performers from the cream of London's avant-pop scene such as The Invisible, Micachu & The Shapes, Kwabs, Kwes and Gwilym Gold. The growth of the event has led to a community of artists and music lovers with further opportunity for creative cross-pollination between like-minded heads.

LeJuki (Beatabet records)
Le Juki bring together a fresh taste of melangerie, referencing classic soul/blues, grime and psych folk, blending lush harmonies and progressive song structures with a child-like simplicity. Their own combination of virtuosity and musical primitivism, and a very adventurous approach to composition, is both familiar yet totally unique.
